Uruguay has been a very cultural and literate country for quite some time now. The need for knowledge and literature of the people of this country in part has been satisfied by the many bookstores we still find in Montevideo. One of these bookstores is Librería Linardi y Risso. We have visited then several times in every one of ours trips. Not only do they have the current editions but they also work the used books market. Among the ones we have buyed from them are a few first editions of some of the most renounced Latin America writers like Rubén Darío, José Santos Chocano, and others. Also an edition of La Araucana form 1866 and another from 1776. They are very professional and are equiped to handle international customers. On ours trips we visited many other good bookstores in Montevideo but we still don't have there Web Page address, once we get them they will be included here.
